Psychologists

Lauma Tropa
Clinical and health psychologist
Every person’s health is closely tied to their emotional well-being. My calling is to care for it, to stand beside anyone who wishes and is ready to meet themselves, their thoughts, emotions and feelings within a safe setting. In my work I focus on the whole person, helping to better understand and accept things within themselves, in relationships, and what is going on around them.
As a psychologist, I offer emotional and psychological support for:
- women in different life and age stages – both in everyday difficulties and major life changes, when body and mind interact very sensitively – planning pregnancy, during pregnancy and in the postpartum period;
- couples who wish to strengthen their relationship and mutual understanding;
- adolescents and young people from age 14 onward facing various challenges, emotional difficulties or relationship issues.
Consultation Hours
Wednesdays (by appointment) either in-person at the medical center “Ģimenes Sirds” or remotely.

In the realm of psychological and emotional support I focus on:
- consultations for couples to strengthen relationships, improve mutual communication and resolve conflicts;
- working with adolescents and young people to address identity issues, stress, school or family challenges;
- supporting women at various life stages, whether relating to pregnancy, childbirth, or other emotional/psychological/relationship challenges;
- Preparing for childbirth, recognising that emotional and spiritual preparation are just as important as physical, because sometimes life-experience can influence this major event.
